House of Gilli Challenge 20: Monochromatic

Hello Everyone,
I'm the hostess for this challenge. I love using monochromatic colors it gives you a very subtle yet beautiful look. I decided to use the new HOUSE stamp for this project, and a different type of fold on my card. I also picked a color that went well for winter. Senorita Gilli

Hey everyone it's Dionne here for this awesome Challenge and I love the ideal of recycling. I had a sheer and metallic ribbon I took off of a present and saved and had no ideal of what I would do with it. I cut it in have width wise and used half for her veil, and the other as the ribbon at the top of the tag. I also embossed the torn paper I used on the bottom that I had left over from another project. Enjoy

House of Gilli Challenge 17: Fall

Hey Ladies,
I really had a lot of fun with this card. I was inspired by a card done by Amy R for a current card series she is doing. I went with this awesome pattern paper from My Minds Eye Stella Rose collection.(love this stuff), that reminder me of fall with a little kick to it. I used the Summer 2011 release stamp Painter Gilli. Enjoy and come join the fun.

Gift Cardholder

Hey ladies,
I know you will be needing some gift cardholders so here is one made with Graduation Gilli but I took her cap off and diploma out of her hand. Now she can be used for any occasion. I dry embossed the front oval and wet embossed the sentiment inside. For directions on how to make go to my blog

Challenge #14 Sketch

Dionne here with my take on the Poka dot challenge. I really love dots and so had a harder time thin usual deciding what to make. I decided to do a outside scene using all poka dots. I embossed the background dots and then used dotted paper,ribbon and some stickles. Enjoy and come join the fun. Also make sure you check out the new Gilli stamps released at CHA.

Pretty in Pink

Hey everyone,
This is Dionne posting and I hope you are all trying to enjoy your summer as much as possible. I made my own version of a book marker for a friends daughter who loves pink. It has magnets in each half so they stay in the book.  She is very ill in a children's hospital and will be there for a long time. She loves when people read to her ,so I thought this would come  in handy. Can you guess what her favorite color is?  All girl I tell you. She also loves to swim so I thought Gilli Bloomers would suit her. Make sure you check out the new Gilli that were released at CHA they are soooo super awesome.

Use Your Ribbon

Hey Everyone,
 It's time for my take on the Challenge Ribbons and Bows, and boy did I have fun being creative. The first thing I decided was that I want to do some ribbon weaving, so I want to my ribbon bin. I picked out scraps of blue,green,white, and added pink for pop. I then decided I wanted to use a different type of sentiment and thats how I decided on how to use my Gilli Lady stamp. I stamped a pattern on all my dresses in color ink and then used a Copic marker color to complement the ink. I hope you enjoy and give it a try.

Here is my take on the Gilli Challenge Use Buttons. I turned my buttons into flowers. I used Gilli Lady stamp and paper pieced the dress and part of the hair. There is still time to join in on the fun and take the challenge.

Make Your Own Pretty Flowers

Hey Everyone,
Dionne here with one last chance to join in on the fun Flower Challenge.  I made my own flowers using a punch and a brad, and I coated them with an iridescent shimmer paint. I also stamped Tee Shirt Gilli on glossy paper and colored her in. I hope you enjoy.

Hello Everyone,
I'm Dionne your Hostess this time around. Welcome to House of Gilli's Challenge #7 -USE BLACK AND 1 OTHER COLOR ONLY . 
Before any one gets confused by my title, if you have teens you may have heard the song. I just couldn't resist labeling it this:) I used Black and Teal on this awesome layout. I really am happy about how it turned out. I have spent a lot of time making cards and other gift items but I have tons of layouts that I need to do so I did this. I did a lot of stamping and sewing and a little embossing. Just in case anyone is wondering that little circle label really is a shade of teal not green.(I promise) I hope you enjoy, and please join in on the fun.

Hello Everyone,
I'm Dionne with my latest post for the Lots of Layers and Faux/Real stitching Challenge. Wow, I had so much fun with this challenge. this is the first time I hand stitched on a card, and I love the way it came out. I also machine stitched on the scallop rectangle mat. I stamped and embossed Gilli's shirt and pants with white embossing powder, and then paper pieced them an added stickles to both. Yes I have alot going on ,but it works for me.
