Ribbons and Bows Challenge

This week the challenge is set as Ribbon and Bows. How easy is that??!!! I add bows to all my cards usually anyway, so this was a super easy challenge for me. You still have a few days to enter, so I hope you will pull out those Gilli stamps and start creating with us!!

I have used some Prima Annalee papers and paired them up with Jeans Gilli. I think she is my favorite Gilli stamp. I just love how cool she looks, like she is just hanging out, ready for any occasion. I hope that you will break out those Gilli stamps and join us for our ribbon and bows challenge at House of Gilli. I cant wait to see what you create!

Gilli's Button Challenge

Hi out there there in blogland!!!! Becca here, and it is my turn to share my card for the Button Challenge this week. There are still a few days left to enter our challenge, so gather up those buttons and join us.

I chose to use Stole Gilli. This is the first time I have used her, and I TOTALLY love her. She is so fancy and gorgeous, ready to hit the town in her fur!!!!

I used K&Company Julliene papers, I love the flowery patterns of them, so girly!! I added a light brown silk ribbon and bow and some lace to make it even more girlie! I love the brown color scheme, and thought that Stole Gilli looked great in brown shades to accent her fur stole and hat!!! The buttons I added are simple clear buttons which I tied brown floss through the center to make them pop and give added dimension. Layers and Stitching Challenge

Hi gang, its me, Becca, here. It's my turn to show you my creation for our current challenge, Layers and Stitching. There are still a few days to enter, so bust out those Gilli stamps and get to creating! I hope you will be inspired by my card today, and come out and join us.

I chose to use October Afternoon Thrift Shop Paper and some Graphic 45 scraps I had in my stash, and pair it up with Nurse Gilli. I thought they made a perfect bright and cheery Get Well Card.

For my stitching, I used a faux stitching stamp from Crafty Secrets that I have had FOREVER. I love the way it looks, real from far away. I do not have a sewing machine, so stitching was a hard task for me. LOVE how this looks, and SUPER simple.

Stripes and Bling Challenge

Hi there! It's me, Becca. Happy Easter!!!!! I hope you are all having a great weekend, and ready to start a new week! It is my turn to post my card for this week's challenge, Stripes and Bling.

Well, I had so much fun making this card for this week's challenge. I chose to go with some K&Company Julienne papers, so pretty. I paired the papers up with Fairy Gilli, whom just looks gorgeous is these dusty pinks, I think. When I heard the word BLING in the challenge, all I could think of was Fairy Gilli, too perfect!!! LOL.

I kept the card design pretty simple as I wanted to showcase the image and papers. I used some sage green ribbon to tie two large bows to either side of the card. I think it makes it look very feminine and pretty this way. I used lots of Recollection gem swirls for the BLING on the card. LOVE it!!

Ribbons and Pearls - Challenge #4

Hi Gang, This is Becca here. It is my turn to host our challenge this week, and I have chosen the theme of Ribbon and Pearls. Two of my fave embellishments are Ribbon and Pearls!!!!

I have chosen Jeans Gilli for this weeks card. I just LOVE her, she is one of my faves.

I used my new K&Company Julienne paperpad for this card. I love the soft, vintage feel of these papers, so pretty. The designs are just gorgeous. I loved these papers, as the soft blues are perfect for Jeans Gilli.

I used white Grossgrain ribbon for my ribbon, and added tons of prima pearl swirls, as well as large adhesive pearls to the corners.

I colored Gilli with copics

Skin - E000, E00, E11, R20

Hair - E25, E31, 50

Shirt - G99, YG91, blender

Pants - B95, B91

Shoes - E41, E40, E42

I used my Flower Border stamp to stamp around the edges with Faded Jeans Distress ink, then sponged the edges.

Challenge #1 - Recipe Challenge

Hello there, all!!! I hope you are having a great Friday!!! It is Becca here, and it is my turn to share my creation with you all for our first challenge.

I chose to use Victorian Gilli which can be purchased at Stamping Scrapping, along with all the other adorable Gilli stamps!!!

The challenge this week has been set by my lovely teamie, Suzanne Dean, and she chose a recipe. The recipe is 3 patterned papers, 2 die cuts/punches, and 1 form of glitter.
