The Very Glamorous Sitting Bride Gilli

Hi, Welcome to Challenge #20 which is to create a monochromatic card or project.  Love this challenge and can't wait to see all the unique ideas!  Remember if you use a Gilli stamp on your project, you get an extra chance at winning a Gilli Goodie, but you still get a chance to win even if you don't use a Gilli stamp.  I chose Sitting Bride Gilli for my card, only I made it into an anniversary card:
If you look closely, you'll be able to see the big diamond Gilli received on her anniversary.  ;)  Thanks so much for stopping by,  Ann

Hello Friends,

It is my turn, Vivi, to show a card for the recipe challenge at House of Gilli Challenge Blog.

Recipe is:
-Use some form of Sparkle
-Use 3 Patterned Papers
-Use at least 2 dies and/or punches
-You do not have to use a Gilli for this project BUT IF you use a Gilli you get 2 chances ;

So here is my card following the recipe:

I used Sitting Bride Gilli, that is in stock at Stamping Scrapping, and colored her with copic markers: V17, V15, V12, C9, C7, C5, E01, E00, E000, R20.

I used beaded oval nesties and Martha Stweart doily heart punch. The little hearts pieces beside of Gilli I got from what came off the punch and added stickles on them and all around the beaded ovalHalf adhesive pearls are from KC.

Check out a closer view on the image:

Love with Gilli

Hello Gilli Gals!

Isn’t this exciting? A new challenge blog and a new stamp line? Gilli is so adorable don’t cha think?

Today it is my turn, Stephanie, to show you my creation for this recipe challenge. I chose to use Sitting Bride Gilli for my project. She is adorable as a bride and anything else I want her to be.

She is a beauty isn’t she? I dolled her all up in red. I added some fibers from my stash for her boa and a red piece of netting for an accent to her hair. I used Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels 4. I punched out some hearts using a heart punch and also used my MS Heart Border punch. I added a paper rose, some ribbon and a glittery die cut flourish. I also added some Ranger Stickles to the pleat of the dress.

For my sentiment I used SSD a Anglaise Lace Circle die and stamped it using the matching SSD Anglaise Lace Stamps. The word Love is from Gilli and is Love 2. I stamped this with Tim Holtz Distress Barn Door and then went over the word with Ranger Stickles.

I have a few more pics on my blog if you would like to take a hop!

What can you do with Gilli and this recipe? We would love to come and visit you so come on and enter our challenge! The prize offering is great, be sure to check out the first post right under Inlinkz and also be sure to check out the other projects that our DT have posted!

Good luck and hope to hop in and see ya soon!
