Hey girls

Here comes my first contribution as a Gilli designer. On this card I have used the waitress Gilli, that you can buy here
The image is painted with distress in refill, and I have used glitter on the dishes. I have used a flower punch with dry embossing and made some of the flowers my self.
have used slightly different Kartons on this card, first a blue with clouds on, then a dark blue with dots on, one with glitter on, to the last one with blue dots.I have sewd around the edges.
I have distresses with "broken china" distress ink refill, around the whole Gilli.
Good luck to you who are involved in the challenge, really looking forward to seeing how many people participate.
if you want you can drop by my blog and leave a message. It can be found here

House of Gilli ~ Challenge #1

Hello ~ I'm so happy to present my Waitress Gilli card today!  The lovely Waitress Gilli can be purchased at Stamping Scrapping.  I colored Gilli with Copic markers and also airbrushed the flowers with Copics to coordinate with Gilli.  I used the Spellbinders Beaded Circle which you can find here.  The sparkle is hard to see in the photos, but I used Star Dust Stickles on Gilli's shirt and shoes, as well as, Crystal Stickles on the outline of the Beaded Circle.

This Gilli card will most likely be a Mother's Day card, and I'll put a gift card inside for a tea shop.  Some Waitress Gilli ideas:  cards containing gift cards for restaurants, coffee, gift tags for baked goods or other delicious gifts, or a note to a friend inviting them to meet you for coffee, lunch or dinner.  I can think of many more, but I'd love for you to post your ideas!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Ann  :)

Lollipop Gilli

Hi!  Here is my version of the recipe challenge.  I used Lollipop Gilli by Anary with 3 different patterned papers: a houndstooth  black and white, a white with black flowers over the doily, and a purple and silver print to mat it all out. My die cuts are the leaves made with a doohickey die and the black scalloped trim with a Spellbinders Borderabilities die. My form of sparkle is stickles on the flowers to look like dew drops or I guess in my area it may be sleet!  I started my card by coloring Gilli with colored pencils and stamping her on the houndstooth paper and cutting out the jacket and part of the hat to piece it onto the colored image. I also added i-rock metal gems to her hat, jacket, and shoes.  I made the flowers using the flower cut out from the George cricut cartridge and the corner piece from the Sweethearts cartridge.  I heat embossed the corner piece to give it some sparkle.  I used brads with gemstones for the corners and in the middle of the bow to finish it off.  Be sure to check out http://stampingscrapping.com/ for Gilli stamps and all your stamping and scrapping supplies!!
